Every time I’m in starbucks I see people meeting who look like they are discussing great entrepreneual ideas. Some look like they are starting companies, some inventing products, some writing software, some dreaming up social change, some gearing up for a political race. It seems like people come to starbucks to brainstorm ideas and collaborate with other minds. It’s very interesting to me. I think about all of the meetings I’ve had in my neighborhood starbucks. Think about what comes of those meetings … The seeds that were sown, the ideas that were inspired and nurtured, the dreams that were pursued.
Finished up the last of the guitar tracks last night. Okay, now I think we are officially on to mixing. We are definitely making sure everything is exactly the way we want it. I am grateful for Derek Williams who is pouring a ton of himself into this project. And I am also grateful for David Kelly who is taking ownership as the engineer for the project and simply doing excellent work. It is incredible to be surrounded by talented and Godly people who know what they are doing. God, I pray that when people hear this record they will fall on their knees in awe of who YOU ARE.

I got the call today from my producer that we should have a rough mix of the entire thing by next week! It is insane to think that only 3 months ago, I did not even have 10 complete songs. And I feel great about how everything is coming out. I will be posting a few tunes on Myspace and Facebook in early May.
